Our door and window systems feature GFRC thermally insulated aluminum profiles and tracks, designed to minimize thermal transfer and reduce heat loss. Each system undergoes thermal simulation to provide accurate thermal values, helping you make informed decisions that can lower your heating costs.

  • Thermal Breaks: Integrated into all aluminum profiles and tracks to prevent heat loss or gain.
  • Glazing: Double glazed as standard, with options for triple glazing (GG series) featuring low-E glass that enhances energy efficiency.
  • Super Spacer® Bars: Installed as standard in glass units, these non-metallic spacers separate the interior from exterior glass layers, improving insulation.
  • Enhanced Options: For increased thermal efficiency, options are available for glass with emissivity of 1%, 3%, 5%, and 10%, or triple glazed units filled with Krypton gas.

Durability and Compliance: All products are tested for water ingress and air permeability, and meet CE compliance standards.

Enhancing Energy Efficiency

GFRC with thermally insulated aluminum profiles typically offers excellent thermal insulation due to its low thermal conductivity, reducing heat transfer between the interior and exterior of a building.

This results in lower energy consumption and savings on heating and cooling bills. These systems often feature enhancements such as double or triple glazing with low-E glass and thermal breaks to further stabilize indoor temperatures.

U-Values

The thermal rating of a door or window is measured in U-Values, the lower the U-Value the better the rating.

Many companies will give you a U-Value based on the centre pane value or the U-Value of the glass. This value will always be lower than the actual value of the complete window or door.

A low U-value is useful during cold days when heating is needed. It is also helpful during hot days when it is important to keep the heat out. Thermally insulated aluminium, and aluminium tracks reduce thermal loss through transfer.

U-Values of complete units

All our U-Value calculations are based on the WHOLE door or window which is frame plus glass.
Timber Door Set = 1.03 – 1.4 W/m2k: Timber is the most thermally efficient material used in the glazing industry.
Aluminium Door Set = 1.01 – 1.4 W/m2k: All aluminium profiles in our systems include a thermal break for greater thermal efficiency.
Aluminium / Timber Door Set = 1.08 – 1.4 W/m2k: Solid timber with thermally broken aluminium profiles for combined thermal efficiency.
Glass Door Set = 1.37 – 1.79 W/m2k: Triple glazed as standard for greater thermal efficiency.
